Protect documents from accidental modifications with DocShield

Imagine opening a Microsoft Word document, adding a few lines of text, deleting a paragraph and carelessly saving the file with its original file name. The next week when you open the same file again to continue editing it, you suddenly realized that you had wrongly deleted an important paragraph! Hoping to retrieve the paragraph again, you search for a backup copy of the file without any luck. Has this or a similar “accidental” situation happened to you? If so, you need DocShield to protect documents from accidental modifications or deletions.

How DocShield Works

DocShield is a program that helps to prevent and recover from accidental modifications or deletions of important electronic documents. It works by continuously monitoring pre-selected documents for any changes between time intervals, from seconds to days. If it senses any modifications on a document, DocShield will automatically create and store compressed snapshots of the document in an archive.

This process will continue as the file changes throughout time, so you can rest assured that you can easily retrieve your important documents, from any different, changed versions. In my opinion, DocShield works like any normal document backup program, but the ability to save different versions of the same document increase its usefulness to a new level.
