my files are syncing but in a format I cannot open. very disappointing; looking for a replacement for foldershare.

To Andrew: I have tried remobo before but without much luck. The GUI looks ok but the connection between my two machines are flaky. The worst thing is that after I uninstalled the remobo and reboot, the remobo comes back asking me to config the installation. I click config, it fails. Also the bittorrent installed as part of the remobo is not uninstalled when I remove remobo.

Great software! Gbridge is the thing I am looking for, especially the folder sync and the live browse functions. Good post!

Have you tried Remobo:

I use Remoobo to share large files; it has some cool BitTorrent feature that allows the same files to be shared among multiple friends efficiently.
