Wish you could stream media from your PC to your TV and mobile devices? Having a highspeed Internet connection will give you access to many fun things. There are tons of options available for your entertainment needs. Streaming your videos or music from your computer to your television will help you conveniently relax. Instead of remaining crouched in front of a small computer screen, you can freely sit on a living room sofa and enjoy yourself.
Choosing the best application to take full advantage of your streaming capability means that you need something that works well. With some of the choices available on the consumer market, turning your Xbox 360, a computer, or AppleTV into a well functioning media extender is not a problem.
One of the best DVR applications that I’ve come across is TVersity Media Center. Not only can it work just like many other DVR devices, but it is also offered completely free to home users for non-commercial use. Streaming your chosen media files from your computer to a television is a simple process that will take a few short minutes. Users have the choice of browsing international television shows and creating a customized programming guide. Another splendid feature of this program is that it gives you the chance to enjoy your videos or music files via a mobile device. That will come in handy during long commutes on a regular basis.
TVersity Media Center is a brilliant program for anyone that wants a full featured media extender. It has all of the standard features that are found in a traditional media server. Playing videos, music files, and streaming Internet content is a simple task because it works with many devices. Using a Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, or another compatible device allows you to branch out to other comfort zones in your home.
To get started, just simply look at the minimum system requirements and Faqs. If all is well, then download TVersity Media Center to your chosen computer and follow the directions. The best way to get your media files to work successfully with TVersity is to make sure that they are able to play on Windows Media Player as well.
After the setup process, you will be able to view your computer media files on a network connected device that supports TVersity. Although there are a few hiccups in the program, it is still far better than most. The interface is kind of basic and unappealing, but the end result definitely makes up for it.
Probably the best benefit of TVersity Media Center is that you can access it via multiple mobile devices. It supports the iPhone, PSP, Nokia N800, and many other current devices. Managing Internet videos and podcasts while on the go can be done in an instant. This application has so many excellent features that you would not expect because it is free. Streaming your favorite Internet radio stations or videos will provide you with hours of fun entertainment at no cost.
TVersity Media Center is the perfect choice for media junkies that love freebies. If you have always wanted to view your media files away from your computer, then consider using this application. Although there are numerous programs similar to TVersity Media Center, they don’t offer as many features as this application does.

TVersity is not a DVR. It doesn’t record anything. It is, however, a gread media server. I’m currently using it to stream content to my Xbox 360. It’s great.
