Free Software Downloads – Cleanup Tool – CCleaner

CCleaner is a very nice program that can be used to ensure privacy and also be used to optimize your system. If you’re interested in making sure all your Internet browsing history is deleted, including temporary files, URL history, cookies, and form history (what you typed in search boxes, etc), then this is the program for you! And the great thing is that if you use FireFox as your main browser, it clears out everything in the FireFox locations also.
It’ll also clear out the Recycle Bin, Recent Documents, Temporary windows files, and log files. And from an optimization point, it’ll also has advanced features to clean up your registry of unused and old entries (which tend to slow your computer down). And if that’s not good enough it also clears out temp files used by many applications including media player, Adobe, MS Office, etc.
Once you’re in the program, the Cleaner option on the right will clean out your IE, Windows Explorer, and System data. The program by default does not select the Autocomplete Form History, so if you want get rid of everything you typed into any forms, select that option also. Here’s what it looks like:
Click on the registry button will give you the list of registry items to be cleared. You can leave the default as is:
After you’ve chosen your options, click Analyze and CCleaner will scan your system and give you a summary with the amount of space you’ll save. If you have never run the program and you use your computer heavily, it may take a while for the program to scan everything because there may be lots of temporary files. Here’s a summary of my computer after running the program (a nice 862MB worth of savings!)
Click Run Cleaner and you’re done!

it is a nice software which protect my pc from so many problems
This is a program I have used for quite some time. I swear by it because it is great for cleaning up dead registry entries after uninstalling a large program. I also like the way you can pick and choose what type of temporary files it cleans off your computer.
