StylePix – Free Image and Photo Editor for Windows 7

Looking for a really good photo/image editor for Windows? I’ve previously written about several including Photoscape, Phantasmagoria, Fotographix, Paint.NET and PhotoFiltre. That’s quite a few!

None of them are as good as Photoshop, but some get closer than others. One new program that I ran across recently has a lot of advanced photo editing and retouching features that makes it mentionable.

Hornil StylePix has a lot of advanced features that I found were missing in other photo editing apps. What kind of features you ask?

  • Ability to work with multiple files at once
  • Ability to use the app in full-screen mode including guides, rulers, and grid support
  • Many selection tools including color-range, rectangular, circular, lasso selection, and more

  • Ability to batch process images for renaming, resizing, rotating, or applying filters
  • Correction and Restoration tools such as dust removal, red-eye removal, lighten, darken, blur, sharpen, etc.

  • Supports multiple layers and supports grouping

Overall, StylePix is a pretty powerful photo editor for Windows. It has a very nice GUI interface and it’s super fast! It also doesn’t eat up very much RAM, which is great for a slower PC.

Also, the author keeps updating the program every few weeks, so it runs very well on Windows 7! Check it out!

    I am becoming concerned that you are advertising items. If it is free please say so. Stylepix is not free.

    Any app consuming less resources is a welcome discovery. Really appreciate putting your time into this post bringing this wonderful tool.

    I’ve done a search for Stylepix and I can find a link for a free download… Not sure what mike or hal are seeing that I am not…
