Phantasmagoria - Free image editing software

Have you ever taken a photo that fails to satisfy your needs? Don’t delete it right away! Using some of the tools that are freely available on the Internet, you may be able to resurrect regular photos / images or give them some cool photo effects. Having said that, Phantasmagoria is one image editing software with a simple learning curve, therefore perfectly suitable for users of all levels.
Phantasmagoria’s main function is to apply effects to images / enhance images; thus making averagely shot images livelier. Using Phantasmagoria is easy; you just need to open the image using the program and choose what you want to do with it from the “Improve” or “Effects” menu bar.
For example, you can remove red eye effects from a portrait image by selecting the “Improve” menu and choose “Red eye reduction“. If you don’t know what an effect will do on your photos, do read the useful tip at the bottom left of Phantasmagoria’s interface.

- Restoration point and revert functions allow you to get back to your original photo states if some effects doesn’t work as you expect it to be.
- Histogram on the right side of the interface will quickly show if your photos are underexposed, overexposed or nicely taken.
- Flickr export support allows you to upload edited images quickly online.
- Twitter updates support - a quick way to inform your viewers that you have updated your photos to the Flickr service above (with image link!).
- Built in tool to add logo or text to your images.
- Comes with a screenshot taker that transfers the image directly to Phantasmagoria interface.
- Supports full screen view of images.
Phantasmagoria may not be perfect like a full fledged image editor but it sure has decent cool effects to pimp your images.
