USB flash drives are convenient little devices. Not only are they compact and portable, but they can offer ample amounts of storage space. Instead of leaving traces of your personal information on someone else’s computer, you can plug in your USB flash drive for added security. All of your personal files, usernames, passwords, or documents will be locally stored on the flash drive. Once you unplug it from the temporary computer, there will be no trace of your data on it. Software developers are creating numerous applications portable enough to run entirely from a USB flash drive.
EssentialPIM Portable is a useful application for a USB flash drive. EssentialPIM can securely schedule your day, manage your contacts, keep track of your To Do plans and organize your notes, all within a mouse click or two. EssentialPIM includes a Scheduler, To Do List manager, Outliner (for notes), and contact manager. It will be able to easily help you keep upcoming appointments in order and manage your contacts. Users have the choice of organizing this data in monthly, weekly, or daily format. Installing the application on your desired USB flash drive is a simple and quick process. Within a few seconds, you will be able to have everything up and running.
The address book will let you attach photos to your contacts while storing them. This feature will allow you to easily locate the contact of your choice according to their pictures. Not only will you have access to this customizable feature, but you will also be able to remove and add fields according to your needs.
Scheduling multiple appointments with the EssentialPIM Portable can be done by color coding. Marking each appointment with a specific color code will be the easiest way to keep meetings and other events in easily identifiable order. Rescheduling these appointments will not be an issue. Just simply drag and drop the desired event into an available time slot and you are done.
EssentialPIM Portable will let users set up recurring or single events, color coded categories, and even reminders. Importing your existing data information from iCal, Outlook, or CSV will only take a few minutes to complete because it is fully compatible with these programs. Securing your important personal information can be done through password protection with encryption.
One of the best features of this handy and portable application is that it is totally free. You do not have to pay a dime to use this particular version. If you are not completely satisfied with EssentialPIM Portable, there is a paid version to purchase. However, you will be more than satisfied with all of the included features of the free version.
Storing your data information on a USB flash drive will increase your productivity level in an instant. You won’t have to wait until you get access to your personal computer to check appointment and meeting dates. You will have instant access to it from your very own portable USB flash drive. EssentialPIM Portable is a wonderful application filled with tons of user friendly features. After using it for a few days, you will be able to keep yourself organized with ease.
