I have Paragon waiting in the wings and have a 1 gig external hard drive coming. I can’t wait to try the software out for cloning or an image of the entire partition.

What I want to know is can you just clone one partition and leave the rest to copy elsewhere on the external disc. Can you have the clone of one partition on the same external as you have for the files on another partition?

If you want to backup your computer properly and easily restore it, you should get Windows Home Server. It’s not cheap per say, but it is simply awesome. I was able to backup and restore a PC all within an hour.

Will any of the programs like Easeus, XXClone, and DriveImage XML work fine with restoring the whole imaged hard drive(s) to a RAID-0 configuration after one of the two hard drives has been replaced?

Easeus is fairly new to the market when it comes to backup software and there is better software to clone your hard drive for free.

My favorites are XXClone and DriveImage XML. Just google the names to find them.
