I don’t install unnecessary programs anymore. I had the problems with duplicate files before, but now I try to not install a lot of programs. Then the storange doesn’t run out of space. Too sad I didn’t know about this a couple of years ago.

@Phao Loo – Thanks for the tip. I agree that a good uninstaller can really free up a lot of space and also speed up a computer too! I have heard that Revo Uninstaller is also a great uninstaller.

This is a useful tool. Another good way to prevent unwanted files is to use a good uninstaller like Your Uninstaller. It’s will scan registry for unnecessary key, remove empty folders of uninstalled program and scan for other files to remove.
