I also agree with #2. I prefer to use Handbrake for all my ripping and converting needs. The new version for Mac has well over 1,000 fixes and is a lot faster. It’s also great on Windows.

Forgive my over simplification, but here is what I am trying to do. I want to take my library of Music Concert DVDs, rip them to my hard drive. Then I would like to be able to slice portions for publishing on my website in flv format (thanks about the only acronym I know). Can ImTOO do this? is there something better? simpler? Is there something free that’s just as good?

Nice step-by-step tutorial. I acutally use ImTOO and its fantastic. There are plenty of other options, but for ease of use its probably the best.
