Advanced System Care – PC diagnostic tools

Advanced System Care is a freeware used for system maintenance, system diagnostics, and system tune-up. This utility offers all-in-one solution for speeding up your computer. You may download the free version from CNET.
To start system maintenance, click on the Maintain Windows button. You will see the functions on the module such as spyware removal, registry fix, privacy sweep, and junk files cleanup. Click the Scan button to start the scanning process.
After finishing the scan the program will display all the problems found in your system. Click the Repair button to fix the reported problems.
If you want to diagnose your computer, click on the diagnose system button. Functions in this module include system optimization, security defense, disk defragmenter, and a security analyzer. Click the Scan button to start the scanning.
After finishing the scan lick the Repair button to fix errors found by the program. You can click on the links to view details of the problems detected.
Click the Utilities button to see additional tools for system tune up, Security, and Admin Tools.
Tools included for system tune up are the following.
· Disk check – used to check the file system structure of windows system partitions.
· Disk Cleaner – used for searching and deleting unnecessary files in your hard drive.
· Smart Defrag – defragment and organize data in your drive.
· Registry Defrag – defragment and organize registry entries.
· Shortcut fixer – checks add repairs your shortcut items.
· Smart Ram – monitors system and frees up resources when ever applicable.
The security tab includes driver backup, IE security assistant, system backup and a system file checker.
The Admin tools tab include the following tools: Auto Shutdown, Cloned Files Finder, Context Menu Manager, Disk Explorer, Restore Center, Software Uninstaller, Startup Manager, System Information, and Windows Manager.
The tool also runs during startup so you won’t have to do the steps above every time you turn-on your computer. In my tests, it took less than 10 minutes to complete the whole scan and clean process.

I’ve used Advanced System Care and its predecessor, Advanced Windows Care, for three years and have been pleased with its performance. It’s one of the better free products on the market.
