Foldermarker pro does NOT work with windows 7 pro.
No color folders to choose from, nothing in the right click menu.

Useless unfortunately. Have been great fan of foldermarker for years, and now I can’t use it.

Folderico is no good either.

Unfortunately, the free version is never updated and only works on Windows XP. It doesn’t run on Windows 7. You have to buy pro to color folders in Windows 7.

Another program to consider is iColorFolder or Rainbow Folders. Search for them in Google.

I also found that Folder Marker does NOT work with Windows 7. I want to uninstall the free version I downloaded. RedDragon – Please tell me HOW you unistalled your FolderMarker.

I have found this software to be very useful. Color coding my folders makes it very easy to browse.

The Rainbow Folder program does not work in vista business. Any other program I can use to change folder colors?

Warning: FolderMarker Pro does NOT work with Windows 7, despite what the program’s support staff has told me. I installed, uninstalled and reinstalled several times per support staff instructions, and the program does NOT work.

Hello, if you create a folder on your desktop, you have to right-click on the folder and choose Properties to change the folder icon. I’m not really sure since I have an iMac!

Unfortunately, the latest version (3.x) of FolderMarker Pro does not work with Windows 7, despite what company techs say. The FM P website only lists XP and Vista–not Windows 7.

If anyone knows of a paid or free program that will change folder colors, please e-mail sdim@yahoo.com with the URL.

As far as I’ve been able to determine, File Maker only works on XP’s and maybe earlier pc’s. But no way, can I get it to work on Vista. Even cut-pasting a colored folder (from my XP onto my Vista) fails at coloring the thing.

Salve volevo kiedere una cosa… ho istallato i programmi Marc Folder & ImagIcon
1) in ImagIcon faccio così
File -> Open…apro l’immagine -> Save Mode…metto trasparenza, nome e tutto e metto ok….bè e poi?…k fine ha fatto l’immagine-icona?
