FavBackup will also backup your Firefox add-ons, I've tried it and it works just fine. It's great for someone like me because I have 5 browsers installed with multiple profiles, so backing them up is important.

What do you mean by "It DOES NOT transfer addon application data"?

I have restored Firefox and it had all my extensions.

It is a very useful program, I used it recently to back up my firefox for transfer to another computer, but you have to be careful about a few things:

It transfers addon settings too, in my case that caused a problem because the temporary directory for downthemall to save files did not exist as the same path on my new machine, so downthemall kept giving me a "file access error" whenever I tried to use it. I thought it was a problem with permissions or something in windows 7 and kept messing with folder permissions until it suddenly hit me. I started digging in downthemall's options until I found the culprit, and changed it to an existing directory.

It DOES NOT transfer addon application data, so it will not backup your gresemonkey scripts or foxyproxy filters.

But other than that, it's a great piece of software.
