Some people are freakin geniuses!!!!! For those geniuses like tigran and klein…..it’s called an mp4 using the h.264 codec. Know it. Use it. Love it. I don’t know of any site that will allow you to upload uncompressed HD. So get a clue! There are other ways of encoding your videos too. mp4 with h.264 is my preferred method.

Yeah Klein is a moron. A 10 second video would be about 500KB, which is about 1000th of 500MB.

Were you able to successfully record through your browser? I tried but couldn’t get it to recognize my audio settings (using the built-in microphone on my MacBook Pro) though the iSight worked fine.

Klein, for me a 500 MB video from my digital camera is right around 10 minutes. It’s not huge, but definitely better than 10 seconds.

Now if you’re talking about an HD camera at 1080p, well maybe you’re right!

I thought 500MB was about 5X what is allowed on YouTube, so I’m having trouble understanding the comment about 10 seconds. Am I missing something
