Use Utterz to post micro blogs directly from your cell phone

Utterz is an interesting web service that lets you create rich media micro posts with text, audio, or video and have it automatically updated on your blog, web site, or FaceBook account directly from your cell phone! Too much for one sentence?
Here’s a quick breakdown of what the service is supposed to be used for: you suddenly have a thought, experience, or opinion that you want to share with all of your friends instantly, so you simply dial a number given to you by Utterz and record a voice “Utter” along with sending an email to go@utterz.com with a snapped picture from your camera phone and text. Pretty nifty.
Utterz takes voice, pictures, video, and text that you call or email in and creates an “Utter” that can automatically and immediately update your web site or blog including sites like Blogger, FaceBook, LiveJournal, MySpace, WordPress and lots more. You can post an utter to the Utterz website and your blog, or just to your blog, or just to yourself.
Utterz is free because they have some contracts with the cell phone companies so that they get a small portion of what you are paying for your cell phone plan. Also, you don’t have to necessarily register for Utterz to use the service. However, if you do join for free, you can rate, tag, and write comments. You can also call into Utterz from multiple phone numbers and have them attached to your account.
The content that you call in or email in is posted into your Utterz media player that you embed into your website or blog. They have several widgets that you can put onto your site, including a classic style and compact style.
The quickest way to post an Utter is to simply dial 712.432.6666 and record your voice message. You can also dial this number to listen to other friends utters. The way you can upload pictures, text and video is by sending the item via email to go@utterz.com. Once you snap a picture or record a video, simply choose the send option on your phone and send it to the email mentioned above.
For some blogging platforms like WordPress, Blogger, TypePad and Live Journal, you don’t even have to embed the widget onto your blog. They provide an auto-posting feature which means you simply provide your username and password and each utter will appear as a new blog entry. Cool!
Cool service if you’re someone who’s constantly on your cell phone and would want an easy way to update your FaceBook profile, MySpace site, or blog with your current status with not only text, but also with pictures, video, and audio! Enjoy!
