Tripr.tv – User video hotel reviews and ratings

Traveling to multiple locations requires you to find a place to stay. With all of the available hotel booking websites, it’s pretty easy to find a bargain nowadays. Although locating the best discount rates for many popular hotels is a priority, it would definitely be nice to view a video of the hotel’s finer points before making a final decision. Some hotels offer potential customers a virtual view of their premises, but seeing videos from actual guests would be much better.
Tripr.tv is a user generated website that pays you for a video review of a hotel. If viewers like your video review and book a room because of it, then you’ll earn a percentage. This is a useful way to make some extra money from an enjoyable hotel stay. Grab your video camera and take some awesome video footage of the hotel room and some of its best amenities. The more appealing and informative the video is, the more likely a website visitor will want to book a room.
I had written previously about two other hotel review and travel review sites that use video instead of just text comments, so make sure to check those sites out also.
At least once in your life, you’ve probably visited a hotel website, fell in love with it, and was tremendously disappointed when you actually arrived. Hotel websites always try to show their positive points, but will never show the negative.
Reading the written reviews of some of the previous guests is helpful, but watching a video review is almost like being there. If you’re tempted to start making your own video reviews of every hotel you stay in, then you’ll also need to make it a truthful one. No one wants to be fooled into booking a room in a horrible place.
To get started with your video review, you’ll also need to follow a few requirements. The video shouldn’t be too dark to view anything. Video footage must be taken inside of your hotel room because prospective hotel bookers will want to see how the room really looks.
As a filmmaker, there should be actual video footage and not a photo slideshow. Although there’s nothing wrong with a photo slideshow, it doesn’t give viewers the same effect. Successful filmmakers will receive payment for their hotel reviews once a month via PayPal. Your total balance must also be more than $25, but if it isn’t then the payment will be carried over to the next month.
The next time you stay in a wonderful hotel and want to earn a few extra bucks, then consider making a video review about it. Upload your video footage to Tripr.tv and let others view your creation. There’s no fee to join and the potential to make money from a good hotel stay is a smart idea. When you have a free moment, visit the Tripr.tv homepage and take a look at some of the user generated videos.
