Track your purchases and keep track of expenses using ShoeBoxed

ShoeBoxed.com is a cool site that you can use to organize all of the receipts from any purchase you make either online or in a physical store. It’s basically a simple way to keep track of bills and expenses for free without having to enter in a bunch of data. It works by creating an email address for you that you can use instead of your personal email address when you purchase something online.
When you purchase something online, the email will go to ShoeBoxed which will then automatically categorize it and store it securely. You can also share your receipts with other if you like (though I’m not sure why other than for showing off possibly).
Track What You Buy
You can either scan in paper receipts and send them to the unique email address from ShoeBoxed or you can do like mentioned above and purchase an item and give the email address of ShoeBoxed rather than your personal email.
The receipts will automatically be organized and broken down into categories so that you can get a useful overview of your spending habits. This is great for anyone who loves to hold on to receipts and organize them. It’s also really useful for any self-employed person who has to keep track of all expenses including things like dinners, supplies, gas, etc. At the end of the year, you can have all of your receipts stored safely with the total amount in ShoeBoxed so that when you lose or misplace them, you won’t have to worry if there is an IRS audit.
Protect Against Identity Theft
ShoeBoxed is a great way to also keep your personal email address, well “personal”! You don’t have to share it with any online company and people will not be able to identify you from your ShoeBoxed email address. Also, you never need to tell ShoeBoxed you credit card #, social security #, or bank account numbers, it’s only there to manage your receipts after you have purchased something.
Also, all ads or notifications from the store will go to your ShoeBoxed account and not into your Inbox, thus reducing those annoying offers that never seem to stop!
There’s also another site that not only keeps track of your receipts, but also lets you get paid for shopping online called SpinningTornado.
