I have 26 Mbit/sec internet connection,
but use this extension with a great pleasure.

With it you can permanently remove entire frames from your favorite websites.

So — AdBlock+subscriptions for unknown/random sites, RIP — for your favorite sites.

For me it’s more important to remove things that are constantly annoying me, than to remove random ads.

It may be useful in such circumstances where the internet speed is very slow. Country like India generally have slow internet speed. This tip can really solve the purpose if any user want to read only the text and is rarely interested in viewing the images.

DWiner, the reason you want to use this over AdBlock Plus is because it allows you to remove ANY part of a webpage, not just ads. So if you want to remove a huge header or a giant table, etc.

If one is really interested in using Firefox for this hack, why not simply install AdBlock Plus add-on instead of hacking the config section…pretty easy ehh?
