Quickly crop, resize, rotate and add effects to your pictures using FixPicture

Looking for a quick way to edit your photos online without all the bells and whistles of major online editing sites like Picknik or FotoFlexer? One of the most common tasks that I have to perform with my digital photos is cropping and rotating, but it’s really annoying to have to wait for all the tools to load and all the albums to load into some online editors.
So if you really just need to resize an image quickly instead of spending 3 minutes opening Photoshop or 1 minute loading a heavy duty online editor, check out a cool service called fixPicture.
fixPicture has been the fastest and easiest way for me to quickly apply effects to my pictures. They have a flash version and an HTML version, I suggest the HTML version because the flash version is what I mentioned above about the other sites, a bells and whistle application for the same thing! No need for that!
It’s quite simple and nice to use actually! It’s like taking a questionnaire rather than trying to figure out which icon represents what kind of tool.
All of the effects are optional, so just pick and choose what you would like to do. You can resize either by pixels or by percentage, rotate clock-wise or counter-clickwise, sharpen, greyscale or auto-contrast, and convert the image into another format including JPEG, PNG, TIFF, PDF, BMP, or GIF. According to the site, they support more than 400 formats.
The only restriction is that the max image size can be 3MB, but that should be fine for anyone using a normal digital camera.
Also, it supports RAW formats such as CRW, NEF, CR2, and DNG. And that’s it! There’s really nothing else to the site other than that, it’s meant to be simple and quick, not feature-rich.
Of course, if you’re looking for a way to edit a large batch of photos at once, this is not going to be very useful! In that case, you can check out software like IrfanView or Faststone Image Resizer. However, these are desktop applications not web apps!

I have used other online tools but this one is good.
The best and most simplest tool I have found for just cropping , rotating and resizing pictures before uploading them, is Flock.. I use it instead of Firefox, and to add Blog entries to my blog.. it’s the best thing since sliced bread.. (not that bread was ever a good thing mind!).
