Are you a enthusiastic amateur photographer looking for basic or advanced photo tips that you can use in your daily life? Photojojo is a great web site that is full of great do-it-yourself photo advice, tutorials on how to take the best pictures, and guides to buying the best photo gear. It’s completely free and you can subscribe to a twice a week newsletter via email or RSS.

There are way too many tips to mention them all, but if you’re looking for tips on how to take night, studio, portrait, landscape, indoor, outdoor, underwater, low-light, wedding, or macro photos, you will find that Photojojo is a great place to start.

Other cool tips include things like “How to take photos on your hands and knees” or “11 Super Awesome Photoshop Movie Effects”. The site also has links to cool photography tools on the Internet that you can use to create coloring books out of pictures or my favorite, create a cartoon Simpson version of yourself!

Photojojo also has a lot of do-it-yourself tips to make your photography life much more interesting. You can learn how to make your own photo cup holders, how to turn your computer and web cam into a photo booth, how to convert your photos to ASCII art, how to transform your face into a different race color or age, and lots more!

The site also has a large forum with many registered users where you can ask all of your questions. There are definitely lots of really good photographers answering questions, so you’ll more than likely find an answer. Forums topics include things like the best way to organize your photos, how to shoot your pet, etc.

And if you come up with a really cool photo trick or photo advice, you can always send the guys at Photojojo an email and if they like it, they might just post it up on their site and give you credit.
