Add watermark to your images/photos online for free

Looking for a quick way to add custom watermarks to your digital photos or images for free? You can always download a free program to do this for you, but it’s better if you can do it online without installing anything. There’s a cool service that lets you add comments or add copyright information to your images online for free.

PicMarkr allows you to add custom watermarks to your photos in three different ways: a text watermark, a picture watermark, or tiled watermark that can be either text or pictures. You can upload photos from your hard drive or import them from your Flickr account.

When you use the online watermarking tool, you can add the watermark to any corner of the image or to the center of the image automatically. Each image can be up to 25MB in size and you have the option of resizing the images automatically when uploading in case they are too large.

When you are done adding a watermark to your photo, you can save the images back to your Flickr account or download them to your computer.

Adding Text Watermark

Simply type in the text you want to display, choose from a preset color scheme, and choose the position you want to align the watermark.

Adding Picture Watermark

To add a picture watermark, first create a file with the image you want to display on your image and then click Browse after you choose the Image radio option. Your picture watermark will look like something below:

Adding Tiled Watermark

Finally, you can add text or an image and have it tiled all across the image. It will look like the image below:

Overall, it’s a very simple to use online watermarking tool that has some nice features, such as the ability to pull images from Flickr and watermark several images at once.

If you have a large number of photos, there are some other batch operations you can perform on them, such as batch renaming photos, batch resize photos, or batch changing file extensions.
