Looking for something to hide or protect your email address from spammers? Are you working for a company where you are somewhat important and you have your own profile online with your contact information, such as a phone number email address, etc? After the initial pleasure of being listed online, true pain sets in when you have to scroll through hundreds and thousands spam email messages every day!

For anyone who has to or must put their contact information online, especially an email address, you’re creating a nightmare for yourself unless you learn how to protect and hide your email address from spam. It’s actually not really that hard and will save you lots of time having to delete and sort through lots of spam mail.

So for anyone (not just special people at your company) who wants to be able to put their email address onto a webpage without fear of it being spammed to death, you need to check out a really cool web service.

MailPic will help you protect your email box from spam. Here’s how it works: simply enter your email address, configure some options for font and colors, and MailPic will generate a picture version of your email address. By using a picture, it is almost impossible for spammers to find your email address and send you spam mail. It’s just like all of those verification boxes you have to fill out whenever you sign up for something.

Click Submit, and you’ll get your email address shown as a picture in about 6 different sizes depending on how big or small you want it. You can click Show Code for HTML for your website, code for forums, and code for Wikis.

I actually use a service from Nexodyne. The graphics with the email images make them look a little more attractive as well!
