How to make free conference calls and group messaging

How many times have you needed to make a conference call with a group of clients or friends, yet didn’t any way of doing without signing up for some $20 a month web service!? If you’re still paying for conference calls, you definitely need to read this article because there are many great services out there that you can use to make completely free conference calls.
Or wouldn’t it be nice if you could simply record a message once and then have it sent out to a group of people on their cell phones? Best of all, it’s completely free!
Foonz is a web service that let’s you call or message people for free, except for your normal phone minutes. So next time you need to talk to a couple of people, you can actually save yourself from using extra minutes by talking to a group all at once.
Once you sign up for an account, you enter in all of the names and cell phone numbers for the people you normally call and put them into groups, like Family, Work, Friends, etc. After that, you’ll get a Foonz number that you will call in order to setup a group call or a group voice message.
When you start a group call, everyone that you chose to invite will receive an SMS text message with the number for them to call to join. If someone is not available, you can leave them a message through Foonz. Also, if you know when you want the group call to start, you can schedule it in Foonz and it will notify everyone in advance.
Also, there is no limit on the number of people that can join a conference call using Foonz. And you can include people who do not have cell phones into conference calls, but you’ll have to call them and tell them the number. Finally, Foonz mobile is a new service that let’s you setup a conference call via SMS text messages alone! You don’t even have to dial in to the service to setup a group call.
Overall, Foonz is a very easy to use and useful tool to keep in your arsenal of free web apps that make life more productive!
There’s also another service that I have used called FreeConferenceCall.com, which has a boat-load of free phone services that could even handle a medium-sized business. I like FreeConferenceCall.com for more business-related calls because it has more features such as the ability to give callers a 1-800 toll-free number. You can also host a simple voice box where you can leave private voice messages for incoming calls.
It even has free International conference calling features available. Definitely work checking out for business class conferencing systems. Foonz is better for personal use, such as with friends or family.
