HeatEatReview – Find healthy, tasty and cheap frozen dinners to buy

Are you simply one of those people who are too lazy to get off the couch and make yourself a ham sandwich when you’re really hungry? Instead of spending 5 minutes making a sandwich, you’d rather grab a frozen dinner, throw it in the microwave, and come back in 5 minutes when it’s ready? Well, me too. And that’s why I’m happy to have found a web site that’s whole purpose is to review frozen dinners, shelf food (like canned soups, etc), and other short and quick snacks everyone likes to munch on!
HeatEatReview is just great. Not only does it give you reviews of the food, it also tells you how easy it is to prepare, how tasty it is, and whether you’ll get a bang for your buck if you buy it. And don’t worry, these guys were smart, so only one person does not review a particular product. Each person on the team gives their own review of the product, so it helps eliminate biases.
Not only that, but you get the technical details also, such as serving size, calories, fat, cholesterol, sodium, protein, carbs, and fiber! That’s pretty cool! So if you’re going on the South Beach diet, just click on South Beach under Meals by Brand and check out which ones get the coveted 5 star rating!
Another really cool thing about the site is that you can browse by star rating, by brand, by speciality diet (vegan, cholesterol free, kosher, dairy free, lactose free, etc), by weight watchers points system, and finally by ingredients! That’s just plain awesome to me! I eat non-veg, but my wife is a vegetarian and I’m lactose intolerant. Not very hard to find now!
Eventually, if you really like the reviews of a particular person (maybe everything they recommend you love), then you can also click on a reviewer and read only their food reviews.

Overall, a SUPER useful site for those of us who just hate making our own food! Now instead of simply roaming the frozen food isles and picking up something that has a really nice looking picture on it, but that turns out to be terrible, you can go in and find exactly what you are looking for.
Enjoy!

After a few years of being totally anti-frozen food, and then finally coming to the realization that I simply don’t have enough time to cook full-blown meals every night, I started giving in to the frozen aisle in the grocery store. Sometimes the microwave meals are good, but I’ve taken to Bertolli’s Mediterranean Style Frozen Dinners, which are skillet-style but hardly take any time to make, and they’re delicious! Check out http://www.whatsyourmedstyle.c.....aspx?cat=b and you can even see Rocco DiSpirito preparing some amazing dishes on the site! I work with Bertolli, so I can vouch for ‘em
