No matter how many times you think you’re organized, you’ll forget something important at least once. Busy lives, various activities, and family life can definitely cause your tasks list to increase tremendously. Sometimes it feels as though you never have enough hours in the day to finish everything.
Making a simple “to do” list can be helpful, but forgetting it when you’re constantly on the go makes it useless. Being able to access a basic system that reminds you of appointments, events, birthdays, or virtually anything else is extremely necessary at times.
Remindr is a useful web service that helps you remember things (reminder service). It intuitively sends you automatic notifications of the preset reminders that you’ve scheduled. At the time of the event, you’ll receive a helping hand from Remindr that you have something to do. The entire interface is easy to maneuver through because it’s pretty basic. You’ll have complete control to add the necessary information for your reminders.
Even if you’re not scheduling an actual event, Remindr can still come in handy. If your memory is extremely bad and you consistently forget to tell someone something, then consider using the service. In order to get started, just navigate to the website to begin the process.
Start with typing your details next to the “Please remind me to” field. Enter the appropriate date and time in the next few fields. When entering the time, remember to do it in a military time format. You can receive these automatic notifications in one or several ways. Depending on how important this reminder is, you may want to schedule it in all of the available methods.
Enter your Twitter username, email address, Jabber or GTalk username, and a mobile phone number. You’ll receive a notification from each method you choose during this setup phase. The best thing about using the service is that you won’t have to create a new account. Just enter your information and go. It really can’t get any simpler than this. Remindr really comes in handy when you’ve got a busy day and just need some helpful reminding to get things done on time.
Although there are a ton of reminder services available on the web, you can always use one more. If you’re constantly missing appointments or forgetting things, then try Remindr. It may help you become a little more productive in your personal and work life. There’s no cost to use the service and you won’t have to worry about keeping track of another user account. Everyone can use a little extra help at some point.
