PhotoFunia - Free online photo effects software

I’ve written many times about adding special effects to your photos, such as creating photo montages, converting a photo into a sketch, or adding text, captions, and art work to your photos. I’ve even written about a service that lets you create a jigsaw puzzle and mosaic from your photos.

So if that’s not enough, here’s another one to add to the collection of sites for free photo effects!

PhotoFunia is a nifty little photo effect service that concentrates on one type of special effect and does it well! Basically, you upload a picture of yourself, namely your face, and it will insert that photo into interesting templates.

It’s kind of like those setups they have at fairs and theme parks where you stick your head into a cut out hole and the bottom is always something crazy looking. So your head on a super muscular man or skinny blonde.

Here’s a few example of what PhotoFunia can do for you (and how bad I can look):

This last one has to be my favorite because it tries to actually blend your face into the profile of someone else and it looks hysterical:

HAHAHAHA That is truly a funny photo effect! You can choose files in JPG, PNG, or GIF format up to a maximum size of 500 KB. But that’s even funnier is if you click on their Faces tab, you can go ahead and view what other people uploaded and which templates they tried their faces on!
