TeraBitz can help you to find local real estate info such as homes for sale, foreclosures, For Sale By Owner, MLS listings, and rentals. But that’s just the beginning! The really amazing feature of this site is that it integrates property listings with all sorts of local neighborhood information such as photos, list of banks, airports, cinemas, etc, list of recently sold homes, list of elementary, middle, high school, and colleges, list of real estate agents, and demographic data for the area.
If you’ve never been to this site before, you really need to play around with it to truly appreciate it’s value. You can perform market research, find the best schools, read over crime and safety stats, and find the value of your current home all from within this one site. Most other real estate sites are focused on getting a transaction, but TeraBitz is geared towards those who like to do LOTS of research before buying a home or property.
To start using TeraBitz, type in your address for your current home or where you are looking to buy a home.

Click Go and you’ll see that the bottom portion of the page consists of nine boxes, each with some specific type of information listed. Across the top are eight tabs, ranging from Listings to Misc. The cool thing here is that if you’re interested in Foreclosures, simply click and drag the Foreclosures icon down to one of the empty slots.

Under the Listings tab, you can find local listings from multiple sources including MLS, Craigslist, and Google.

Under the Local tab, you’ll find local photos, airports, banks, cafes, child care centers, cinemas, fast food joints, fire department, and gas stations, grocery stores, and tons more in your neighborhood. Once you drag the module onto the grid, the Mini Map at the top left will automatically update with the new listings also.

The Market tab gives you info on the Housing Market and Recent Sales. Of couse, the Education tab will allow you to quickly find information on schools and even tutoring services.

The Financing tab is very useful for determining Home Equity, How much you can afford for a new home, calculating your mortgage payment, find local mortgage rates, and determining the value of your home based off Zillow.com estimates.

Lastly, the Misc tab has basic information on the demographics of the area, local news, and weather. Remember, you can also view all of this information in Map mode instead of Dashboard mode, which basically makes the map much larger and easier to navigate. Just drag and drop all of the modules you want onto the grid and then select Map towards the top right.

Simply click on any of the items on the right side and it will pop up in the map! Very neat way to find all kinds of local information.

TeraBitz is definitely the best real estate site I have come across and I’m very impressed with it’s integration of local data which truly gives you enough information to make an informed decision.
