Do you have a really cool file that when shared, could generate a lot of traffic? DepositFiles.com offers a unique service, it lets you host your files for free and when web visitors view it, you will earn download points that will directly translate to dollars.
Before you get too excited with that video you took last weekend, let me explain first how things work on DepositFiles.com. Registration is free and they also don’t charge you per upload.
First you need a login account, go to http://depositfiles.com to create your own account. After that, login to your account and upload a file:
After uploading the file, you will see a link that contains the URL of the file:
The generated URLs are usable for forums, blogs or plain HTML. There is also a URL that you can use to delete the link (maybe for cases when things become too controversial and you are forced to bring down the file).
Copy the URL applicable to your site, and have your visitors click to it. If you want to know how much earnings you got with that file, you can click the link to “My Earnings” on the left side part of the page. It will show you a report with your current earnings, my average tariff per 1000 download is 2.4$.
You can also see download stats per target continent. US downloads of course generate more money than other regions. If your bulk of downloads are from Asia, you might not be getting the same amount of return if you generate the same amount of traffic for US traffic.
There is also a report where you can see the amount of downloads per file. Based from the facts below, I guess my friends are really not that interested with my drumming videos:
If you think you have the files that thousands would download, DepositFiles.com is a good hosting service that will generate you income at the same time.
Ben Carigtan shows you how it’s done.
