Download YouTube Videos as MP3s and MP4s from a Toolbar

We have found many ways to download YouTube videos as both MP3s and MP4s. However, none of these ways is infallible, and YouTube has started trying to block many of these downloaders. Having several download options is important.
One fairly new option is the YTByClick Toolbar. If you use Chrome, IE or Firefox, you can install the toolbar and give yourself one-click access to MP3 and MP4 downloads.
Click the big red Download button on the YTByClick homepage. Depending on your browser, you may need to give the toolbar permission to install.
By default, the toolbar has a built-in Bing search, links to download the videos, a link to Amazon and a link to a games website. You can add more apps to the toolbar if you so choose, but for now, we are most interested in downloading videos.
Navigate to YouTube and find a video you want to download. Click either the music note or the film strip icon to download your video as an music or movie file.
You are re-routed to a page where your video begins to download. When it is ready to download, you will be prompted to save the file to your computer.
TYByClick works well—it downloaded every video we tested. However, it slows down Chrome considerably. If you download a great number of videos, it might be worth it. For us, it just was not worth the lag.
