Combine multiple links into one shorter link using Shrink2One

Shrink2One is a free web service that allows you to convert multiple URLS into one smaller URL. I always love web services that make my life easier and I found one that does exactly that! Earlier I wrote about TXTCollector, a free program that combines multiple text files and PowerPoint Joiner, a program that lets you merge multiple PowerPoint presentations.

How many times have you had to send friends or family a couple of links to various sites like your online photo album, a YouTube video, a funny news article, etc? It’s a pain to have to copy and paste all of those links to your email program and to your IM chat window, etc.

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could convert all of those links into just ONE link! How is that possible you ask? I have no idea, but is what Shrink2One does. Here’s an example:

Want to send a friend your favorite 20 websites without having to export your bookmarks, email it to him, and then have him import it? Now just copy and paste those 20 or 30 or however many links into Shrink2One and let it convert it into one nice and pretty short link!

And that link will work always, so you can simply save it and use it from any computer to quickly access your favorite sites. So what does the shorter link look like when you enter it in a browser window? Like this:

Click on the link or click on the thumbnail and the website opens in a new tab! Nice! I personally really like this because it’s a quick and easy way to send a bunch of links to someone without looking like you are sending spam and it’s a great to access your favorite sites when you are not at your main computer.

You can also give the links a title and even set a password on them, so everyone in the world can’t view them! Overall, a cool service that is actually useful! Enjoy!

That’s great. ‘Til now I used http://linkbun.ch to shorten a group of links, but I like the idea with the screenshots (and the future possibility of edit). Great tool, thanks.
