Capture and share web pages with SimplyBox

Within a few seconds of browsing the Internet, you’re bound to discover something extremely interesting. Gathering bits of information for research, business, or fun are only a few of the reasons that you may surf the web consistently.

Being able to capture a small piece of data for later viewing is a handy and organized way of keeping your data in well functioning order. There are plenty of online tools that make it easy to snag or capture your important data with great ease.

SimplyBox is a free web application that gives you the opportunity to capture data without disrupting the flow of your Internet browsing. Once you’ve come across something, just simply grab it and it will be saved in your personal storage system.

To get started with this free application, you’ll need to sign up for a brand new account. A confirmation link will be sent to your registered email address. After you’ve clicked onto this link, you’ll be quickly logged into your SimplyBox account.

Download the SimplyBox toolbar to start collecting photos or other bits of web information. When you’re ready to begin saving data, click the “Box and Save” button located at the top of your toolbar. It will automatically prompt you to highlight the area you’d like to capture. Immediately after doing this, a set of boxes will appear at the lower area of your browser window. Place your captured data in the right box by dragging it there.

If you don’t see a box that fits this category, then create your own. This can be done by clicking the “New Box” area and a pop-up window will appear for you to type a new name. All of the things you’ve captured with SimplyBox will be saved into the locations you’ve chosen. Rearranging the boxes and data can also be done to help keep you organized. Select the “SimplyBox” link located in the toolbar and it will direct you to your account.

View the bits of stored data and decide if you’d like to keep them. One of the best features of SimplyBox is that not only can you view a snapshot of the captured information, but you can also go back to its original source. A clickable link conveniently appears next to the data and makes it easy to work with.

Although there are tons of other applications that allow you to perform screen captures or clip web data, SimplyBox is still a useful tool. The user-friendly interface, quick installation, and free cost make it a valuable asset to increase your productivity while working on the Internet.
