Buy and sell your content and documents (Word, Excel, PDF) online using Gazhoo

Gazhoo is a cool web site where you can sell your content online quickly and easily. So if you just made a killer PowerPoint presentation for your marketing class on how Coke could improve it’s sales and gain market share, but you will never look at it again after that, then why not put it online and make some money!

This is a really great way for anyone who is knowledgeable in a particular field to make some passive income. Once your document is uploaded to Gazhoo and your price set, you’ll get paid automatically via PayPal for every download! This could be really cool for bloggers if you have lots of great content and want to earn some extra money other than through ads on your blog.

The cool thing is that there are no listing fees, so simply create an account and get started. Of course, your documents must be copyrighted by you and selling them on Gazhoo does not give the buyer the right to use your content for commercial purposes.

The site is broken up into document categories: Reports/Essays, Business Forms, Legal Forms, and Market Research (where that Coke presentation would go!). As of right now, those are the only categories, but I’m sure more will be added later on. Also, the site only allows Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF documents at the moment. However, reading through all my term papers and essays written during college has got me thinking that these could actually prove to be useful! According to Gazhoo, a 5-page term paper sells for about $50. And there will never be a shortage of kids who are in college!

Another interesting thing that I found on the site was the fact that a lot of people are posting documents that are completely free! I guess they really don’t care to make money, but there are some interesting articles to read:

Ok, these may not be written by Harvard professors, but they are the work of someone out there who put in some time and effort in doing research, etc. I especially like the Business Forms and Legal Forms sections because they have tons of documents that are great for small business owners or for individuals who want to incorporate a company or sublease their apartments for a few months.
