Add text bubbles to YouTube videos using TubePopper

YouTube videos are great because they are from common people doing common and mostly crazy things, which is why they are also perfect for adding speech bubbles too! Imagine all the videos out there where you could add your own commentary to make it more funny!

TubePopper is a free service that lets you cartoonize any YouTube video. You can add text bubbles, speech bubbles, and subtitles to the video and then share it with your friends and family via a link or by embedding it on your website or blog.

Here’s an example of a YouTube video with some speech bubbles add to it (don’t ask me what this person writes, I didn’t watch the whole thing):

In order to create your own YouTube cartoon, you need to sign up by creating a new account, then search for the video you want to modify and click Pop that video.

Then you can begin creating your own speech bubbles and customize the font color, background color, transparency, font size, and position. If you have your own home videos that you’ve uploaded to YouTube, it’s a great way to add some funny comments or to create a story out of a video that just has images.

You can also use it to translate a video into another language since you can add subtitles to the videos.

Here are some of the basic features of TubePopper:

  • Quickly add text bubbles, speech bubbles or subtitles to a YouTube video
  • Customize the color, size, text, etc of the speech bubble
  • Embed the edited video into any other website or blog
  • Browse videos created by other uses including Top Rated, Recently Added, etc.

Overall, it’s a fun little tool that everyone will have a use for at some point in time! If you watch a lot of YouTube videos, keep this little tool in mind the next time you think of something funny that could be added to the video.
