Dumpr is a photo manipulation site that you can use to add or create effects for your pictures, such as making them into sketches or into jigsaw puzzles. You can them share the new pictures with friends via a link, email, or embed the pictures into your MySpace profile, FaceBook profile, or blog.

Personally, I really like the instant sketch special effect because it works very well and looks good:

Here’s a sketch of me and my wife! It was quite a small picture, only 130K and yet the quality of the sketch is great in terms of facial features and detail. A couple of the other effects you can perform include Easter Egg, Lomography, and Jigsaw puzzle. They are also planning on releasing a slew of new effects in the next update to the site, so keep it bookmarked for later.

Another crazy thing you can make are these “circles” by uploading your own pics, preferable of a landscape! It takes your photo and twists it up to make a design.

Finally, one last effect that I like is Museumr, which takes you photo and makes it into a museum painting that has people admiring it as if it’s in some kind of art gallery!
