Random Note Generator, skrbl, and Simple Seating - A couple of interesting and fun websites!

Here are a couple of web apps that are either fun to play around with or that could be used to actually get something done!

1. Did your friend just screw your over? Or maybe a boyfriend just dumped you and you want to get some fun revenge?? However, if you’ve watched any crazy person movie like Seven, then you know that you need to do it in the right way! It’s gotta look screwed up and look like you’ve just spent 30 hours creating a single note to scare the crap out of the person! This is also a great way to play some practical jokes on friends or family.

Use Random Note Generator - Simply type in your note “YOU WILL PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID” and you get back a nicely created note made from newspaper clippings! Nice!

2. skrbl.com - skrbl is a really easy to use whiteboard that you can use to draw stuff and share it so that others can edit it also. And it really is like a whiteboard! When you draw, it draws however you move your mouse around, no straight lines or anything. Nice if you just want to “scribble” some ideas down and have a couple of people review it who are not physically located where you are.

3. SimpleSeating.com - Shoot! I wish I had found this site before I got married! You create seating charts online with ease now!What a pain in the butt it was to create a wedding seating chart for 250 people and manually typing in the names in Excel and creatig the diagram in Word! Oh well, maybe the next wedding (Let’s see if my wife ever reads that!).

The free account lets you manage up to 50 guests and 1 event. For $20, you can manage up to 350 guests and two events, enough for most people probably! The interface is really nice with the ability to simply drag and drop tables, etc.

Once you login, create a new event and then click Add/Manage Guests.

When you add a guest, you have some nice options such as whether the person is vegatarian or eats beef, fish or chicken! You can choose the total in the party for a family and whether or not they are coming!

Then click on Work on seating plan button and drag your tables onto the deck. Then you can just drag and drop your guests onto the seats! Very simple and very easy to use.
