Google¡¯s GoogleÀÇ plan to dominate the world °èȹÀº ¼¼°è¸¦ Áö¹èÇÏ´Â by indexing all information has taken a big leap. Google recently has indexed political videos. With this database of indexed videos you can now search for specific parts of the video where your search words are mentioned. ¸ðµç Á¤º¸¸¦ »öÀο¡ ÀÇÇØ Å« µµ¾àÇß´Ù. ±¸±ÛÀº ÃÖ±Ù Á¤Ä¡ µ¿¿µ»ó »öÀÎÀÖ´Ù. »öÀÎÀÌ µ¿¿µ»óÀÌ µ¥ÀÌÅͺ£À̽º¿Í ÇÔ²² ´ç½ÅÀº Áö±Ý ¾îµð¿¡ ±ÍÇÏÀÇ °Ë»ö ´Ü¾î¸¦ ¾ð±ÞÇÏ´Â µ¿¿µ»óÀÇ Æ¯Á¤ ºÎºÐÀ» °Ë»öÇÒ ¼öÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù.
It makes sense that Google started with political videos since they know that political videos receive a lot of attention. With more users testing the tool, Google can fast track the development of this engine. Google will look at how viewers use the tool so they can modify and add enhancements to it. Now it only indexed political videos from the USA but soon it will index others as well. To use this searching capability go to this link under Google Labs: ¿¬±¸¼Ò´Â ¾Æ·¡ ¸µÅ©·Î À̵¿ÀÌ ±¸±ÛÀÌ °Ë»ö ±â´ÉÀ» »ç¿ëÇÏ·Á¸é : http://labs.google.com/gaudi
Google Audio Indexing , or GAUDI, is still on it¡¯s early stage on Google Labs. It¡¯s interface is like the common Google search page. The textbox where you can input your searched phrases is in the upper part of the page while the resulting video is in the center part of the page: Google ¿Àµð¿À À妽Ì, ¶Ç´Â Gaudi, ¿©ÀüÈ÷ Google LabsÀÇ ±×°ÍÀÇ Ãʱ⠴ܰ迡ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. ±×°ÍÀÇ ÀÎÅÍÆäÀ̽º´Â ÀϹÝÀûÀÎ Google °Ë»ö ÆäÀÌÁöó·³ÀÔ´Ï´Ù. ÅؽºÆ®¸¦ ÀÔ·ÂÇÏ½Ç ¼öÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù ¾îµð ÆäÀÌÁöÀÇ »ó´Ü ºÎºÐ¿¡ÀÖ´Â ¹®±¸¸¦ ¼ö»öÇÏ¸é¼ µ¿¿µ»ó °á°ú ÆäÀÌÁöÀÇ Á᫐ ºÎºÐÀ¸·ÎµÇ¾îÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù :
The yellow marks on the video timeline shows where the searched phrases appear. The texts on the lower part shows a play button where you can jump into that specific time of the video: ºñµð¿À ŸÀÓ¿¡ ³ë¶õ»ö Ç¥½Ã°¡ ³ªÅ¸ °Ë»öÇÑ ¹®±¸°¡ ¾îµð¸¦ º¸¿©ÁÝ´Ï´Ù. ¾Æ·§ ºÎºÐ¿¡ÀÖ´Â ÅؽºÆ®¸¦ ¾îµð ºñµð¿ÀÀÇ Æ¯Á¤ ½Ã°£¿¡ ¶Ù¾îµé ¼öÀÖ´Â Àç»ý ¹öưÀ» º¸¿©ÁÝ´Ï´Ù :
Another powerful feature of this tool is that you can search for mentions inside a single video. On the lower part of the video player there is a search box where you can type any words you want to search on the currently playing video: ÀÌ µµ±¸ÀÇ ¶Ç ´Ù¸¥ °·ÂÇÑ ±â´ÉÀÌ ÇϳªÀÇ µ¿¿µ»óÀ» °Ë»öÇÒ ¼öÀÖ´Â ¾ÈÀ¸·Î ¾ð±ÞÇϰíÀÖ´Ù. ºñµð¿À Ç÷¹À̾îÀÇ ¾Æ·¡ ºÎºÐ¿¡´Â ¾î¶² ´Ü¾î¸¦ ÀÔ·ÂÇÒ ¼öÀÖ´Â °Ë»öâ ´ç½ÅÀº ÇöÀç Àç»ýÁßÀÎ µ¿¿µ»óÀ» °Ë»öÇÏ°í ½ÍÁö´Â :
With the snap shot transcripts of each mention you can easily identify the context of the searched phrase: ±¸¹® °Ë»öÀÇ ÄÁÅؽºÆ®¸¦ ½±°Ô ½Äº°ÇÒ ¼öÀÖ´Â °¢ ¾ð±Þ¿Í ½º³ÀÀÎÀ» ½ð Áõ¸í¼ :
The capability to see the transcripts removes the need of jumping on the various parts of the video to look for the right segment. By knowing the context of the mentioned word you can jump into that segment at once. You can also see the transcripts if you hover your mouse pointer on the yellow markers: ±â´ÉÀÌ ³ìÃë·ÏÀ»º¸°í ºñµð¿ÀÀÇ ´Ù¾çÇÑ ºÎºÐ¿¡ Á¡ÇÁÀÇ Çʿ伺 ¿À¸¥ÂÊ ¼¼±×¸ÕÆ®¸¦ ã¾Æ Á¦°ÅÇÕ´Ï´Ù. ´ç½ÅÀ» Çѹø¿¡ ¶Ù¾î ¼öÀÖ´Â ¼¼±×¸ÕÆ®¿¡ ¾ð±ÞµÈ ´Ü¾îÀÇ ¹®¸ÆÀ» ¾Ë°íÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. ´ç½Åµµ ³ìÃë·Ï¿¡ º¼ ¼öÀÖ´Â °æ¿ì ³ë¶õ Ç¥½Ä¿¡ °¡Á®°¡ ¸¶¿ì½º Æ÷ÀÎÅÍ :
As this voice recognition technology matures, it is safe to predict that we will see all and not only political videos indexed in the near future. ÀÌ À½¼º ÀÎ½Ä ±â¼úÀÇ ¼º¼÷, ±×°ÍÀº ¿ì¸® ¸ðµÎ¿Í µ¿¿µ»ó»Ó¸¸ ¾Æ´Ï¶ó Á¤Ä¡, °¡±î¿î ¹Ì·¡¿¡´Â »öÀÎÀ» º¼ °ÍÀ¸·Î ¿¹»óÇÏ´Â °ÍÀÌ ¾ÈÀüÇÕ´Ï´Ù.
