I tried this application and it interfered with the Windows settings that I had established in the taskbar & start menu settings box,i.e., to hide the taskbar automatically and present it as is hovered the cursor at the bottom of the screen. Then I installed Taskix and didn’t have any interference. Of course, Taskix doesn’t either move the tray icons nor groups similar tabs in the taskbar.

However, for me it was more important to keep the functionality of hiding the taskbar than re-arranging (which isn’t, anyway, permanent) the tray icons, and Windows will anyway pile up similar tabs once the space in the bar is over.

Okay… but why not enable us to place Taskbar buttons INTO the system tray?

It’s a really great tool, however opening and closing windows runs a bit slower than normal. I usually keep it closed until I need to rearrange my taskbar, then close it afterwards.

Abhijeet – Rearranging my taskbar is not something I do often, but it’s definitely useful on certain occasions.

This is certainly a nifty tool. I always drag and drop my firefox tabs but wondered if I could do the same in my taskbar. Thanks !
