In this post, I will go over the steps for installing Mandriva linux. Nesse post, vou passar em revista os passos para instalar o Mandriva Linux.
Mandriva is a based on the Redhat platform. During its early days it was called Mandrake Linux. Due to copyright issues, the later version was named “Mandriva Linux”. It is one of the easiest to install Linux distributions and perhaps one of the easiest to use too. Mandriva é uma plataforma baseada no Redhat. Durante seus primeiros tempos foi chamado de Mandrake Linux. Devido a direitos de autor, a versão mais recente foi nomeado o "Mandriva Linux". To install Mandriva you will need the Mandriva live CD. Para instalar você vai precisar do Mandriva Mandriva live CD.
First step is to set your CD/DVD drive to boot first, to do this enter your systems BIOS and set the CD/DVD to boot first, then save changes. After setting your CD/DVD drive to first boot, insert your Mandriva CD then restart your computer. Swelect your keyboard layout and you time zone then clicl next. Swelect a disposição do teclado e fuso horário, então você clicl próximo.
After this the Mandriva live CD will boot with its GUI. Após isso, o Mandriva live CD vai arrancar com a sua GUI. You try to navigate with the live CD before installing the Mandriva Operating System. Você tenta navegar com o live CD antes de instalar o sistema operacional Mandriva. To install mandriva double click on the Live Install Icon on the desktop. The mandriva Installation wizard will open, click next. A instalação Mandriva assistente irá abrir, clique em Avançar. You will be asked if you want to use the available free space or if you a custom disk partitioning. You will be asked to install the mandriva live GRUB bootloader. Você será solicitado a instalar o Mandriva viver GRUB bootloader. You can also set the delay before booting default image, set your prefrered time in seconds. That's it! You should be able to use your new Mandriva desktop. Try expanding it by adding packages. That's it! Você deve ser capaz de utilizar o seu novo Mandriva desktop. Experimente expandi-lo adicionando pacotes.
