Thanks! I switched someone at work from Windows Media Player (which I actually like a lot!) to iTunes. I didn’t know iTunes could go to the taskbar, too, until I read your tutorial. This works great on Windows 7, too.

This is good, but every time a select a new song, the iTunes toolbar maximises again. This doesn’t happen in the windows media player, it stays minimized. i was wondering whether the same function was available for iTunes. thnx

roxo, the same happened with me. right click your taskbar and click on properties. Go onto the “toolbar” tab and tick the box next to iTunes. This will allow iTunes to be on the list of toolbars.

Then follow the steps in the article and you should be fine.

problem. There is no iTunes when I click toolbar. If I press new toolbar I can only add a folder and the iTunes tray doesn’t appear on the taskbar

Thanks so much for this, I managed to do it a few years back and I couldn’t remember how. Then when my laptop died, I spent ages trying to figure out how to re-do it on the new one. You’ve just helped a lot!!

Cool, ty, I looked at another site but it didn’t have images with step by step instructions but this site is good as and easy as bru!
