If you don't want to buy hardware you can use Remote desktop instead - I use that to get access to my Mac and Linux computers from my W7. I use TightVNC http://www.tightvnc.com/

Hi! is-it possible to connect two computers to one monitor using a router? I have the D-Link Ethernet Broadband Router wired model : DI-704UP. If yes, can you please tell me how.

Thanks.

Having problem using airlink 101 2-port kvm switch. Old 486 computer responds with airlink. New hp a1050y will not respond to mouse. Discovered this morning, if I turn on old computer first, then switch to new computer; new computer mouse works.

If I turn on hp first, it will not respond to mouse. But, can switch to old computer and it works. Can anyone help with suggestions in making hp work if it is first turned on?

Is there anyway you can connect 2 monitors to 1 Computer? Not necessarily same time.

What I am looking for is a solution with which I can split VGA out from computer. When I am working on the computer I want to use the regular LCD monitor so I wont connect my HDTV. When I want to watch anything streaming, I will be connecting the LCD TV.

As I am planning to use this for a desktop, I dont want to switch the cables back and forth on Computer end.

Thnx in Advance
