This is a guide on how to change a drive letter in Windows XP for an external device. هذا هو الدليل على كيفية تغيير حرف محرك الأقراص في ويندوز اكس بي لجهاز خارجي. Here’s a common problem that I have seen: Plug a USB flash drive into your computer and it’s says ready to use, but for some reason nothing shows up in the list of drives. Here'sa المشكلة المشتركة التي رأيت فيها : سد أ USB فلاش حمله الى جهازك وتقول انها جاهزه للاستخدام ، ولكن لسبب ما لا تظهر في قائمة يحرك. Take it out, plug it back in and still nothing shows up!!! إخراجه ، لاعادتها في سد العجز ولا تزال تظهر شيئا!!! What the heck is the problem? ما هيك هي المشكلة؟ Well, it could be several things, but the most common issue is that the drive letter Windows is trying to assign to your device is already taken by some other drive or maybe mapped to a network drive. حسنا ، يمكن ان تكون عدة اشياء ، ولكن المساله الاكثر شيوعا هو ان حملة رسالة ويندوز يحاول ان يسند الى جهازك هي التي سبق ان اتخذتها بعض الدول الاخرى او ربما يدفع رسم خرائط لشبكة الحملة.
Sadly, Windows XP does not figure this out itself (which is should) and your drive is basically lost in la-la land somewhere. ومن المحزن ، ويندوز اكس بي لا اصل هذا الرقم نفسه (الذي ينبغي) الخاص بك وحملة هو اساسا فقدت في مدينة لوس انجلوس مدينة لوس انجلوس - ارض في مكان ما. Click on Disk Management under the Storage section and the right side will show you all of the current drives and partitions on your drive. انقر على القرص إدارة التخزين تحت الباب والجانب الايمن وسيظهر لكم جميعا للتحرك الحالي وحواجز على قيادتكم الحملة. If you don’t know what that means, don’t worry, just find the drive you are looking for in the graphs at the bottom. اذا كنت لا تعرف ما يعنيه ذلك ، لا تقلق ، مجرد ايجاد الدافع كنت تبحث عن فى الرسوم البيانيه في اسفل. They are usually named Disk 0, Disk 1, CD-ROM, CD-ROM1, etc. If you’re looking for a USB flash drive, you’ll see the word “ Removable ” underneath Disk X. فهي عادة اسم القرص 0 ، القرص 1 ، قرص مدمج ، قرص rom1 ، وما اذا كنت تبحث عن آ USB فلاش حملة ، سترى كلمة "ازالة" تحت القرص العاشر.
As you can see from my computer, I plugged in a USB flash drive and it’s currently assigned drive letter is F. If you want to change this, right-click in the white space to the right of the drive letter and choose Change Drive Letter and Paths . وكما ترون من بلدي الحاسوب ، وانا plugged في USB فلاش حملة وانها المخصصه حاليا حملة رسالة هي واو - اذا كنت تريد تغيير هذا ، انقر بالزر الايمن في المساحه البيضاء الى حق حمله رسالة التغيير واختيار حرف محرك الأقراص والمسارات.
Click the Change button in the dialog box and then pick a new letter from the drop-down list. انقر على زر التغيير في مربع الحوار وثم اختر رسالة جديدة من القائمة المنسدله. Just for your info, the Mount in the following NTFS folder option is used if you had right clicked on an external hard drive and instead of giving it a drive letter, you wanted to just have it show up as a folder on your current hard drive. عادل للمعلومات الخاصة بك ، في جبل التالية ntfs مجلد الخيار يستخدم اذا كنت قد نقرت على حق خارجي القرص الثابت وبدلا من اعطائها للحملة رسالة ، لمجرد انك تريد لها ان تظهر على النحو مجلد على القرص الثابت الحالي الخاص بك . That means you could create a folder in My Documents called pictures that actually points to another hard drive instead of one where all of your My Documents are currently stored. وهذا يعني انك يمكن ان تخلق مجلد في بلادي صور الوثائق ودعا الى ان الواقع يشير الى آخر القرص الثابت بدلا من واحدة فيها كل الكلمات التي هي بلدي وثائق مخزنة حاليا.
Click Ok twice and your drive should now have the new letter assigned. انقر فوق موافق مرتين وينبغي ان تدفع الخاص بك الآن وقد الجديد رسالة المنتدبين. Usually, if you USB stick was not showing up before, once you change the letter, it will automatically pop up and ask you what you want to do. عادة ، اذا كنت USB عصا كان لا يظهر حتى قبل ، عندما قمت بتغيير الرسالة ، وسوف تصل تلقائيا البوب وأسألك ما تريد ان تفعل. It is currently not possible to have more than 26 drive letters in Windows. ومن غير الممكن في الوقت الراهن الى اكثر من 26 حملة رسائل في ويندوز. However, this does not mean you cannot have more than 26 drives attached to your computer. ولكن هذا لا يعني لا يمكنك الحصول على اكثر من 26 يحرك المعلقه على جهاز الكمبيوتر الخاص بك. You can mount a hard drive to an empty folder on your computer using Disk Management. يمكنك ان يشن القرص الثابت الى مجلد فارغ على جهاز الكمبيوتر الخاص بك باستخدام القرص ادارة.
However, if you want to connect to more than 26 network shares on a server at once, this is not possible, it must be a new and empty hard disk. ولكن اذا كنت تريد ربط الى اكثر من 26 شبكة الاسهم على خادم دفعة واحدة ، لم يكن ذلك ممكنا ، ويجب ان تكون جديدة وفارغه القرص الصلب.
I will write a post on how to mount an external hard drive to an empty NTFS folder soon. انا سوف أكتب ما بعد بشأن كيفية جبل خارجي القرص الثابت لفارغ ntfs مجلد قريبا.

However, what do I have to do that this is not necessary each time I reconnect the drive after reboot? ولكن ، ماذا يجب ان افعل ذلك وهذا ليس من الضروري في كل مرة اقوم اعادة وصل الدافع بعد اعادة التشغيل؟

I’ve done everything you’ve said to assign a drive letter to my external USB hard drive. لقد فعلت كل ما كنت قد قال لاسناد حمله رسالة الى بلادي الخارجية USB القرص الثابت. The drive is recognized in Disk Manager and Device Manager, but drive letter assignment is not avail. الدافع هو معترف به في القرص ومدير ادارة الاجهزه ، ولكن حمله رسالة الاحاله لا جدوى. for the drive (though it is available for the internal drives). لحمله (رغم انها متاحة للتحرك الداخلي). I’m running Vista, and this problem arose only after reinstalling the OS. فأنا تشغيل فيستا ، وهذه المشكلة لا تنشأ الا بعد اعادة تركيب القانون الاساسي.
