When I open the avi with subtitle workshop 4, it said ‘ cannot render media ‘, what can i do?

Everything works fine but I have a little problem. When I open the file, for the first 5 seconds or so, the title of the video is overlapped on the subtitles so I can’t read it. Solution? :/

If you already have the subs, instead of stuffing around with all that, because AGK has to recode movie, so you loose quality, use subscene to get the subs, then use program called AVI-Mux Gui. It rewrites the subs into the avi stream without recoding, takes about 90 seconds to subtitle a 2.5hr movie.

Just go to subscene.com, then download the best match subtitle from that site of ur movie

Example –
Name of Movie-The Hangover (2009) DVDSCR-MAXSPEED filename.avi
Name of subtitle-The Hangover (2009) DVDSCR-MAXSPEED filename.srt

Then open VLC media player, the file will start automatically with the subtitles.

hi! i have a problem with this application…when i open the avi video, it does not play…then a box shows up telling me “”’ has changed..do you want to save changes?” if i click yes, it will tell me “cannot render media” and if i click no, it will also tell me “cannot render media”…can you explain why this is happening? please

was using add subtitles to AVI video the first time. I succeeded in creating .srt file which had the subtitles

when I tried to prepare the final video following to the T all instructions the final video came up with duplicate titles as a result the text looked garbled.

can you suggest me what could be the problem?
