I lost my Show the Desktop icon on Quick Launch. YAH! I finally have it back. What a relief! Thanks!

My problem is that my Quick Launch toolbar is now 3 lines deep. In the past, I only saw the date at the extreme right – now I see the Time on line 1, the Day on line 2 and the Date on line 3. I do not know how this change happened but I would love to get back to the simple one line deep Quick Launch toolbar with just the Time. I’ve clicked everywhere for an instruction and looked on the ‘net for help without success.
