If you encode a song extract to m4a and rename the extension to m4r it turns it into a ringtone for the iPhone. The ringtone then can be synced using whatever program you use.

Does iTunes now allow you to convert songs or buy ringtones directly? I had heard this somewhere, but was not sure how to do it…thanks.

I trid the first way to convert my songs by downloading apptapp and sendsong but its totally messed up my phone and it has gone into emergency mode. does anyone know how to fix that?

Hi everyone! I’m so interested in making my own songs (the ones I have in itune library) into ringtones. When I still had the version 1.1.3 2G Iphone, there was an app which called phonezap, it allowed me to convert any song I have in my library into ringtone. However, I now updated my iphone to 2.0 version, I don’t know how to do to make my own song as the ringtone anymore, anyone know? Help me out. I downloaded iBrickr, but I sitll don’t know what to do with it. Love to have someone walk me thru this. Thanks much!

Just downloaded your program a few mins ago, only took a second to setup and now I have my favourite ringtones on my iPhone, GREAT! Excellent program, well done.

You can also request any ringtone at mobiletrend.net from the song that you have on your PC
