		<description>Another method that doesn&#039;t require Administrator privileges:

-unplug the network cable
-delete the printer
-plug the network cable back in
-make sure you&#039;re connected to the network again.

Worked nicely for me on an XP machine; read it somewhere on the web.</description>

I&#039;d also recommend stopping the spooler service first, then restart it after you&#039;ve finished pruning the printers.</description>
