Previously, I wrote about how you can add/delete items from the right-click context menu, but didn’t touch upon the Send To menu. The Send To menu is used to speed up transferring of files to a certain location. It acts like a shortcut to a program or a folder. Notice that when you right click a file or folder you will see the Send To menu with available options supported in your system.
To add items to the Send To menu, follow the steps below.

Tired of your same old Aero look? The good news is that within Aero there is a built in color mixer so you can get the exact color that you want to use. This means you are not limited to the predefined color palettes.
You can make it as pink as a rose or purple as an eggplant. Whether you prefer ornamental plants or botanically classified “berries” as a Windows interface color, the steps below will guide you to achieve the look that you want.
How to enable or disable System Restore in Vista

System restore is used to restore your system to a previous state. This is a backup of your core Windows system so if you encounter boot-up or hang-up problems, you could restore from a saved system profile.
The system restore feature is ideally enabled before you do something crazy to your computer – like installing new hardware that doesn’t have a signed Windows driver or opening a file from an un-trusted source.
To enable or disable system restore in Vista follow the steps below.
Tweak the Windows Vista page file size

Increasing virtual memory can compensate for you lack of RAM but it also uses space in the hard drive. This means getting data from the paging file takes longer than getting data from the actual RAM. This is why if you really prefer to get a significant performance gain, installing additional RAM is a necessity.
What if you already maxed out your PC’s physical RAM? Vista by default combines the computer’s Physical Memory with temporary space in the hard drive. When the computer needs more memory, it uses a virtual RAM using your hard drive. This is called the paging file or the swap file in Unix and Linux lingo. To tweak your computer’s paging file, follow the simple steps below.

If you have Vista, you might have been thrilled by that cute animating picture slideshow at the right side of your screen. By default, it will use the pictures inside the “sample pictures” folder inside your “my pictures” folder. You will notice that this works like a revolving digital picture frame and is a nice way to enjoy your valuable pictures without having to use your entire screen.
Hide the Recycle Bin in Windows Vista

If you want to remove your Recycle Bin from the desktop in Windows Vista, it’s a pretty straightforward process. Personally, I don’t really find it very useful on the desktop, so I remove it to reduce the clutter.
To remove the recycle bin, there are two ways you can go about it: either delete it by right-clicking on it or go into Personalize Desktop and un-check it from there. Both methods simply remove the icon from the desktop and nothing else.
