Whoops! I had been using expandable posts on my blog for about a week (where only a short summary of the post is visible and the rest is hidden), until I realized that there is one HUGE problem with using them!!!
I was looking at Google Analytics for the last week and I realized that the number of visitors from an organic Google search had dropped pretty siginificantly and was curious as to why since I was posting a few articles every day with some decent content!

If you have a web site where you sell products or services and you haven’t heard of MR-SEO, then it’s about time you checked out his web site for some FREE tutortials to help you get your site indexed by Google and to get a higher PageRank number!
MR-SEO goes through a list of mistakes that people make when they make their web sites, thinking that it will help them get listed higher in Google search results, but actually ends up getting them banned and put into the Google Supplemental Index.

Holy cow! I just came across the motherload today!!! Thanks to Just Another Tech Blog, I learned that there is a site called Open Source Web Design that has tons and tons of free web designs and templates that you can use if you are planning to build or create your own web site.
They have a list of the 200 favorite web designs and I have to say that they are pretty damn good, especially free! This is also really great if you’re a web designer and you build web pages for people or companies. The total number of web designs is 2080! Holy!

I’m probably shooting myself in the foot because I am a web designer myself, but I’m still banking on clients that need web sites fast and can’t afford the TIME to make it themselves. But if you’re interested and want to not only have more control over the way your web site looks but also save money, then this is the series for you! Ok, now on to Part II of this segment on how to make your own web site! Now that you have your own domain name and hosting, you’re going to need to actually make the web site! That usually scares most people because they think of code and HTML and all that fun stuff. And yes, back a couple of years ago, you really did need to know it. But not anymore! Now you can get very nice web site templates (the web page designed without any content) easily!
