Het Microsoft Office wordt online nu genoemd Bureau Levende Werkruimte

Update: Na het lezen van een commentaar verlaten door het team van het Microsoft Office, realiseerde ik dat mijn titel verkeerd is! Het bureau online is een andere bedrijfseenheid die van de Levende Werkruimte van het Bureau volledig afzonderlijk is, die deel van het Levende initiatief uitmaakt! Droevig voor de verwarring.
Microsoft heeft sommige screenshots van het is nieuw vrijgegeven De Levende Werkruimte van het bureau product dat uit zeer spoedig zal komen. Natuurlijk, heeft iedereen gewacht want iets van Microsoft sinds Google Doc. en Spreadsheets vrijgaf. De nieuwe Levende Werkruimte van het Bureau zal een online metgezel aan Microsoft Office zijn. Gisteren aan kondigde Amazonië het is de nieuwe MP3 downloaddienst met 2.3 miljoen liederen klaar te downloaden en allen zonder exemplaarbescherming! Natuurlijk, zou u „goed kunnen denken die groot zijn, maar heeft wal-Mart het zelfde ding gedaan en gebruik ik reeds e-Muziek, zo waarom schakelaar“? Goede vraag! Ik vroeg me het zelfde ding en kwam fundamenteel aan de conclusie dat Amazonië dat MP3 verkoopt eigenlijk zou kunnen werken omdat I ook gelukkig om een craplading van ander materiaal van hen te kopen!

Iedereen dacht dat slechts Google uit reeks van het Bureau van Microsoft de dominante van producten moest overnemen, maar blijkbaar is IBM nu in de strijd ook! Gisteren kondigden zij officieel aan dat de versie van een nieuwe reeks van de vrije genoemde hulpmiddelen van de bureauproductiviteit Lotus Symphony. The suite consists of a word processor, spreadsheet application, and a presentation software. The new software is based on the Open Document Format (ODF), which is nice since it means you’re not locked into any kind of proprietary file format.

Yahoo is on the verge of releasing it’s new re-vamped social networking web site called Yahoo! Mash. After the failure of Yahoo 360, rumors started that Yahoo would be coming out with a new site that would go against the powerhouse social networking sites like MySpace, FaceBook, and Orkut. However, it’s now official and current in private beta testing. You can get invited to use the new service by going to InviteShare, sign up and then request an invite for Yahoo Mash.

Last night Yahoo released two new cool features, one for maps and the other for shopping. Using MapMixer you can take a map that’s already been created, like a University map for example, and then overlay that map onto Yahoo maps with full support for zooming and panning. MapMixer morphs a Yahoo map with your own images to create a hybrid map.
The example map shown below takes the Unviersity of Southern California campus map and overlays it onto Yahoo maps. Yahoo automatically creates 5 levels of zoom and detail for your map, so you don’t have to worry about any of that. You simply have to get it aligned and scaled correctly.

Microsoft has officially released the Beta 3 or 2008 version of Windows Live Writer. This release not only has many new features, but also fixes a lot of bugs! The new version is much more responsive from what I’ve seen so far, so if you’ve been a little annoyed at the slow interface, you’ll be happy now!
