Το πληκτρολόγιο Indic Google επιτρέπει την αναζήτηση σε 14 ινδικές γλώσσες

Google αναγγελθε'ν πρόσφατα στις 15η Αυγούστου, ημέρα ανεξαρτησίας της Ινδίας, η απελευθέρωση Εργαστήρια Ινδία Google, με το οποίο θα επιδείξουν τις αγαπημένες ιδέες τους για ακριβώς τους ινδικούς χρήστες. Μια από τις πρώτες ιδέες που απελευθερώνονται ότι η ημέρα ήταν η αποστολή για να καταστήσει την αναζήτηση προσιτή παγκοσμίως και ως εκ τούτου προσφέροντας την αναζήτηση σε Google σε 14 ινδικά και τις νότιες ασιατικές γλώσσες μέσω ενός επί της οθόνης πληκτρολογίου.
Οι 14 γλώσσες που υποστηρίζονται περιλαμβάνουν অসমীয়া (Assamese), বাংলা (βεγγαλικός), ગુજરાતી (Gujarati), हिंदी (Hindi), ಕನ್ನಡ (Kannada), മലയാളം (Malayalam), मराठी (Marathi), नेपाली (Nepali), ଓଡ଼ିଆ (Oriya), ਪੰਜਾਬੀ (Punjabi), संस्कृतम् (σανσκριτικός), සිංහල (Sinhala), தமிழ் (Ταμίλ), και తెలుగు (Telugu). Όλος ένα πρόσωπο χρειάζεται είναι μια μηχανή αναζήτησης Ιστού, ένα ποντίκι για να χτυπήσει τις επιστολές, και μια πηγή Unicode ως γλωσσική ρύθμισή τους.

Είμαι ένας μεγάλος ανεμιστήρας Google και αγαπώ την απέραντη σειρά υπηρεσιών τους όπως GMail, χάρτες, Apps για την περιοχή, τα έγγραφα & οι υπολογισμοί με λογιστικό φύλλο (spreadsheet), κ.λπ., κ.λπ. Υπάρχει τρόπος πάρα πολλές υπηρεσίες Google που χρησιμοποιώ στην αναφορά εντελώς ξαφνικά! Εν πάση περιπτώσει, πολλές αυτές οι υπηρεσίες είναι βήτα ή ακόμα αρκετά νέες, έτσι είναι πολλή διασκέδαση για να ξέρει πότε υπάρχει μια μεγάλη προσθήκη αναπροσαρμογών ή χαρακτηριστικών γνωρισμάτων.

Ok, I know that I am about to change my current search feature on my blog to Google’s Custom Search Engine for Businesses as I write this post because it’s cheap, can be customized to have no ads, and of course best of all, you get results that actually match what someone searches for! The cool thing is that it takes absolutely no time to setup because all you have to do is give your search a name, tell it what you want it to search, and paste four lines of HTML onto your home page.

Wow, I looked up directions yesterday to go to Harrah’s Casino in New Orleans for a comedy show and I was annoyed because Google Maps kept telling me this long and drawn out way through bad neighborhoods that just didn’t make any sense! Yes, it was the fastest route out of them all, but I would have also liked to have lived through the drive for crying out loud!

You can use Google News search and Google Blog search to keep track of the latest news and relevant blog posts through RSS feeds of the search. This is a very simple way to create your own news feed of information from reputed news sources and also the blogosphere.
For example, let’s say you want to keep abreast on any developments with Presidential candidate Barack Obama in the blogosphere, then you could type in “Barack Obama” and either setup Blog Alerts or choose to subscribe to the RSS or Atom feed for that search.

For all of those faithful people who use Google for search and FaceBook for staying in touch with friends and family, then you’ll like the new Google gadget that has been created for FaceBook. It still has not been officially released, but the beta FaceBook gadget allows you to view your latest updates, your friends latest updates, photos, and perform searches from within Google’s homepage.
