How I lost all my Google traffic because I didn’t back up my site كيف انني فقدت جميع صور بلدي المرور لأنني لم نسخة احتياطيه من موقعي

I just experienced a blogger’s worst nightmare : My hosting company’s server crashed, most of the data was LOST, my site was down for two full days, and I lost all of my traffic! انا فقط شهدت Blogger اسوأ كابوس : بلدي استضافة خادم الشركة تحطمت ، ومعظم هذه البيانات قد فقدت ، موقعي متوقف ليومين كاملين ، واني فقدت كل من بلدي المرور! And on top of that all, I was not even in town when this happened, so I could not fix the problem till I got back home because I didn’t have any remote backups. وعلاوة على ذلك قبل كل شيء ، لم اكن حتى في المدينة عندما حدث ذلك ، ولذا فأنني لا يمكن حل المشكلة حتى صعودي الى أوطانهن لانني لم يكن لدي اي الناءيه احتياطية. So after blogging for 6 months and increasing my traffic slowly but steadily to almost 1200 visitors a day, I am now getting a whopping 45 visitors from Google! حتى بعد التدوين لمدة 6 أشهر وزيادة بلدي المرور ببطء ولكن باطراد الى ما يقرب من 1200 زائر يوميا ، وانا الان الحصول على الضرب 45 الزوار من صور!

Google is amazingly fast at removing a site from it’s main index if something is wrong and here’s proof below: صور المدهش هو الصيام في ازالة موقع منه الرئيسية للمؤشر اذا كان شيء ما خاطئ واليك الدليل ادناه :

So as you can see from the graph, I was well above 1,000 visitors a day until September 28th and beyond. بحيث يمكنك أن ترى من الرسم البياني ، الاول كان اعلى بكثير من 1000 زائر فى اليوم الثامن والعشرين وحتى ايلول / سبتمبر وما بعده. From what I found out from my hosting company, BlueHost, the server had a "severe" hardware failure late in the evening on Friday, the 28th. من اصل ما وجدته من وجهة نظري شركة استضافة ، bluehost ، الخادم كان "شديدة" فشل الاجهزه في وقت متأخر من مساء يوم الجمعة ، في الثامن والعشرين. Unfortunately, even with all of their backup systems, etc, they "lost" some of the backups and the others were corrupted! ولسوء الحظ ، وحتى مع كل من النظم الاحتياطيه ، الخ ، وانهم "فقدوا" بعض من النسخ الاحتياطيه وآخرون افسدتها! Now remember, you’re talking about a HOSTING company and a fairly popular one also that LOST their backups. نتذكر الآن ، انت تتحدث عن استضافة الشركة والى حد ما الشعبي احد ايضا ان خسروا احتياطية.

And that’s just Google traffic, I also lost all of my Yahoo traffic, StumbleUpon traffic, and more than half of my FeedBurner subscribers! وهذا مجرد صور الحركة ، كما انني فقدت جميع من بلادي ياهو المرور ، stumbleupon المرور ، واكثر من نصف المشتركين feedburner بلادي! All it takes it one mistake like this to screw up everything! كل ما يلزم هو احد خطأ مثل هذا المسمار يصل الى شيء!

I had a backup of my SQL database, so I had all of my posts saved, but I didn’t have a complete backup of my actual home directory on the server. كنت قد احتياطيه من قاعدة البيانات بلادي لغة الاستعلامات البنيويه ، بحيث كان لي من جميع الوظائف انقذ بلدي ، لكنني لم اكن لها كامل احتياطيه من بلادي الفعليه المنزل دليل على الخادم. Thankfully, I was one of the lucky ones that had only a few corrupted files and didn’t lose everything. شكرا ، وكنت واحدا من المحظوظين التي كانت قليلة فقط افسدتها ملفات ولم نفقد كل شيء. The files that got corrupted were all of the index.php files stored in various locations in the Wordpress directories. الملفات التي حصلت افسدتها كانت كل من index.php الملفات المخزنه في مواقع مختلفة في WordPress الادله. I was able to download the latest version of WordPress, replace all of the old files along with the corrupted ones and everything was back online. انني قادر على تحميل أخر اصداره من الكلمات) يستعاض عن كل من ملفات القديمة جنبا الى جنب مع الفاسد منها وعاد كل شيء على الانترنت.

HOWEVER, had all of my data been lost, I only had backups of my Wordpress theme and a couple of the system folders like wp-admin and wp-includes. ومع ذلك ، كان كل من بلدي البيانات المفقودة ، الا انني قد احتياطيه من بلادي WordPress الموضوع وزوجان من نظام المجلدات مثل رزمه العمل - الادارة - وتشمل رزمه العمل. I would have lost all of my pictures and plug-ins stored in the wp-contents folder. كنت قد فقدت جميع صوري والبرامج المساعدة المخزنه في رزمه العمل - محتويات مجلد. I basically got superbly LUCKY and this was a big wake up call for me. انا اساسا حصلت بشكل ممتاز محظوظ وهذا هو كبيرة استيقظ الكلمه بالنسبة لي. It’s hard to imagine something like this happening to you, but it does and if you’re not prepared, all of your hard work (and income) could disappear within a few hours!!! ومن الصعب تخيل شيئا مثل هذا يحدث لكم ، ولكنه واذا كنت غير مستعد ، من جميع تقومون به من عمل شاق (والدخل) يمكن ان تزول في غضون ساعات قليلة!

Here are my new mantra’s that I’ll be following from now on: هنا بلدي جديد تعويذه للأن انا سأكون من الان فصاعدا التالية :

MAKE BACKUPS OF ALL DATA ON MY WEB SITE DAILY جعل جميع النسخ الاحتياطيه للبيانات على موقع بلدي يوميا

STORE THE BACKUPS LOCALLY, ON MY HOSTING COMPANY’S SERVERS, AND REMOTELY USING ANOTHER SERVICE تخزين النسخ الاحتياطيه محليا ، على بلدي استضافة خوادم الشركة ، وآخر عن بعد باستخدام الخدمة

ASSUME IT’S GOING TO HAPPEN TO ME AGAIN نفترض انه سيحدث للي مرة اخرى

As of now, my site has been up and running since yesterday and I’m still not getting any traffic from Google. وحتى الان ، تم موقعي وعاملة منذ الامس وانا لم يحصلوا على اي من وسائل النقل صور. Hopefully, things will come back once they see that the site does not simply have the words "This site is temporarily down due to required repairs" written all over it! ونأمل ان الامور لن تعود مرة يرون ان الموقع لا ببساطة عبارة "فى هذا الموقع متوقف مؤقتا بسبب الاصلاحات المطلوبة" المكتوبة في جميع انحاء! I’m praying! انا الصلاة!

Assuming you had a remote backup of the entire blog with the database, and your primary server crashed, can all the files be restored automatically without human intervention? وبافتراض أنك قد نائية الاحتياطيه للبلوق كامل مع قاعدة بيانات ، والاساسية الخاصة بك خادم تحطمت ، ويمكن ان تكون كل الملفات المستعاده تلقائيا دون تدخل بشري؟
Or is it that one has to always manually restore/upload the files via local or remote backups? ام ان على المرء دائما الى استعادة يدويا / تحميل الملفات المحلية او البعيدة عن طريق النسخ الاحتياطيه؟ In this case if someone is on vacation for 3-4 days and does NOT check on their blog, the backup would not be restored and traffic still be lost, regardless if you have a backup or not. في هذه الحاله اذا كان هناك من هو على اجازة ل3-4 أيام ولا تحقق من حالهم بلوق ، الاحتياطيه لن تعاد والحركة لا تزال تضيع ، بغض النظر اذا كانت لديك نسخة احتياطية او لا.
“Automatic restore and synchronize”.. "واستعادة تلقاءيه التزامن".. is there anything like that for web sites or blogs? هل هناك شيء كهذا لمواقع الانترنت أو بلوق؟
I hope I make sense. انني آمل ان اكون ذات معنى.

I’m glad to be back too! يسرني جدا ان اعود! hahaha That was quite scary indeed. Hahaha ان كان حقا مخيف تماما. To answer your question about automatic recovery or restoration of backups, the answer right now is yes and no. للاجابة على سؤالكم حول استرداد تلقائي أو استعادة النسخ الاحتياطيه ، والاجابه عن الحق الآن هو نعم ولا. In my case, the backups were actually corrupt, so I still had to manually upload and replace files. في حالتي ، فان النسخ الاحتياطيه فعلا الفاسده ، ولذا فانني لا يزال يدويا ويستعاض تحميل ملفات.
Had the files not been corrupt, they actually did restore my files to the original directory, so my site would be been up and running just fine. وقد الملفات لم الفاسده ، وانهم فعلا استعادة الملفات الى بلدي الاصلي دليل ، حتى موقعي سوف يتم تشكيل وتشغيل مجرد غرامة. I’m sure that most large hosting companies will try to automatically restore your site in case of a failure. انا متأكد أن معظم الشركات الكبيرة التي تستضيف ستحاول استعادة موقعك تلقائيا في حال عدم الامتثال. But as you can see, it’s good to have your own backup because you can’t count on them sometimes! ولكن كما ترون ، انه من الجيد ان يكون الاحتياطيه الخاصة بك لانك لا تستطيع ان تعول عليهم في بعض الاحيان!

I never had huge traffic like urs ,normally 150 page views a day 50 subscribers . لي قط مثل اورس المرور ضخمة ، وعادة 150 صفحة آراء يوم 50 مشتركين.
But but , I am so sad cant say nything.I am consoling my father to have a paid host, he agrees but we dont have credit card. ولكن ولكن ، وأنا أقول ذلك الحزينة الرطانه nything.i صباحا مواساه والدي ليدفع له المضيفه ، وقال انه يوافق ولكن نحن dont لها بطاقه الائتمان.

Glad to see you back up and running! مسرور لرؤيتكم نسخة احتياطية والجري! I can only imagine the feeling when you found out. ولا يسعني الا ان يتخيل الشعور عندما اكتشفت. Recently my entire SQL database disappeared from my hosting service, only to reappear an hour later with their apologies. مؤخرا بلدي لغة الاستعلامات البنيويه قاعدة البيانات باكملها اختفت من وجهة نظري خدمة الاستضافه ، لتعود الى الظهور الا بعد ساعة فى وقت لاحق مع الاعتذار. Fortunately I hadn’t launched my blog yet, so the information that [might have] been lost wasn’t detrimental. ولحسن الحظ انني لم اطلق بلادي بلوق بعد ، ولذلك فإن المعلومات التي [قد] ضاعت ليست ضاره. I now [try] to backup regularly. انا الآن [جرب] نسخة احتياطية بانتظام.
You mentioned you use WordPress; I was curious as to whether you’ve installed the database backup plugin. ذكرتم كنت تستخدم WordPress ؛ انا الغريب ما إذا كنت قد ركبت قاعدة البيانات الاحتياطيه البرنامج المساعد. Thus far it’s proven very useful for me. حتى الآن أثبتت انها مفيدة للغاية بالنسبة لي. Don’t be too worried, as long as they can get your site up and running within a few days, your traffic will come back. لا يكون قلق جدا ، طالما انها يمكن ان تحصل على موقعك وعاملة في غضون بضعة ايام ، والحركة المروريه سأعود. There are actually a lot of free hosting services out there that might be better than the one you’re currently using. وهناك بالفعل الكثير من الخدمات المجانيه التي تستضيف الى ان هناك قد تكون افضل من واحد انت تستخدم حاليا. I’ll try to send you some links! سأحاول ان ابعث اليكم بعض الروابط!

I was really about to kill myself if I had lost 6 months worth of work in one day! كنت في الحقيقة عن قتل نفسي اذا كنت قد فقدت قيمتها 6 اشهر من العمل في يوم واحد!
Currently, I do have the wp-db-backup plugin installed and running. حاليا ، اعمل لها رزمه العمل - ديسيبل - الاحتياطيه تركيب وتشغيل البرنامج المساعد. Unfortunately, as I came to find out, having just the posts backed up was not enough. ولسوء الحظ ، كما انني اتيت لمعرفة ما ، وبعد ان مجرد وظيفة نسخ احتياطية لم يكن كافيا. Even with my database intact, some of my web files were corrupted (the PHP files) and all of the pictures would have been missing also! حتى مع قاعدة بيانات سليمة بلادي ، بلادي شبكة بعض الملفات الفاسد) [فب الملفات) وجميع الصور من شأنه ايضا انهم مفقودون!
Luckily, my blog traffic has returned to normal today, so that was fairly quick. لحسن الحظ ، بلدي بلوق المرور عاد الى طبيعته اليوم ، وحتى ان كانت سريعه نوعا ما. I’m doing daily backups now! اعمله يوميا احتياطية الآن!
